before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for said County and State personally
appeared Samuel G. Flecharty and Acknowledged the with Bill of Sale or instrument
of writing to be his Act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof
                                                    Acknowledged before      James Moobray


Robert F. Tubman       Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was recorded
    Ex.d  from               on the tenth day of September Anno Domini 1844 to wit
Richard Condon          Know all men by these presents that I Richard Cordon of Dorchester
County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the Sum of Forty Dollars Current money
to me in hand paid by Robert F. Tubman of the County and State aforesaid at and
before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said
Richard Cordon do hereby Acknowledge have granted bargained and Sold and by
these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the said Robert F. Tubman his
Executors Administrators and Assigns all the Goods and chattels hereinafter particularly
mentioned that is to say 4 Bedsteads beds and furniture 10 Stool chairs 2
potts 1 Kettle 1 Spider 1 oven 1 Cubard 1 Safe 3 tubs 1 Water Bucket 2 tin pans
2 dozen Caps and SAnders and 4 Bowls 1 Dozen Spoons 1 Coffee pot 1 Horse
1 Dark red Cow crumple horns 1 Yearling white fact 1 pide Steer in his five years
old 1 white Calf with red ears 1 Sow and five pigs 5 Shoats 17 Geese
50 dunel fowls of all kinds and all the fodder and Corn on the land where
I now live"   To Have and to Hold all and Singular the said Goods household
stuff and furniture and all the above described property above bargained and Sold to
the said Robert F Tubman his executors administrators and assigns forever to his or their
only proper use and benefit I the said Richard Condon for myself my Executors
and Administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents
to the said Robert F. Tubman his executors administrators and assigns the said
described property against me my Executors and Administrators and against all
and every other person or persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the 10.th day of September 1844
