Daniel Hubbert            Be it Remembered that the following Bill of Sale was recorded on the
x.d   from Fee paid      21.st day of September Anno Domini 1844 to wit
Littleton Hubbert         Know all men by these presents that I Littleton Hubbert negro of
Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the Sum of Sixty five Dollars
Current money to me in hand paid by Daniel Hubbert of Caroline County and State aforesaid
at and before the Sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents do grant
bargain and Sell unto the said Daniel Hubbert his executors Administrators and
Assigns to wit one white Cow and Calf Seven head of hogs Crops of Corn and
fodder two Beds and furniture and Cubbord all which property is now in my
possession   To Have and to Hold the same described property above bargained and
sold to the said Daniel Hubbert his executors Administrators and Assigns forever
to his and their proper use and benefit  And I the said Littleton Hubbert for my self
my executors and Administrators shall and will warrant and forever defend
by these presents to the said Daniel Hubbert his executors Administrators and
Assigns the said described property against me my executors and Administrators
and against all and every person or persons whatsoever claiming the same or
any part thereof.  In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal
this 20.th day of September 1844

State of Maryland Dorchester County To wit  On this 20.th day of September 1844
before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County appears
Littleton Hubbert and Acknowledges the within instrument of writing to
be his act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and
the Act of Assembly im such case made and provided  Witness my

James Hurlock              Be it Remembered that the following Bill of Sale
  Ex.d   from                  and recorded on the 23.d day of September Anno
Washington Hurlock      Domini 1844  To wit
       Know all men by these presents that Washington Hurlock of Dorchester County
and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the Sum of $200.00 two hundred
Dollars Current money to me in hand paid by James Hurlock of the County and
State aforesaid at and before the Sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof
I do hereby Acknowledge have granted bargained and Sold and by these presents
do grant bargain and Sell unto the said James Hurlock his Executors
Administrators and Assigns one Gray mare called Henney one Roan Colt 3 years
old called Picture one Colt about 5 munts old black eight head of Cattle
one Cart four head of hogs and all my Crop of corn and fodder now growing
or standing on the Ground all which property is now in my possession
