223. Margaret Hester and Be it remembered that the following Bill Martha Jane Wilson of Sale was recorded on the 4.th May 1844 from Ex.d Know all men by these presents that I Lydia Wilson Lydia Wilson of Dorchester County state of Maryland in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bare towards my daughters Margaret Hester and Martha Jane & for and towards the better support and maintenance of them after my decease and for divers other good coses and valuable considerations me thereunto expressly moving have given granted ^and by these presents have given granted^ unto the said Margaret Hester and Martha Jane one Negro Boy named William one Negro Girl named Catharine two beds and furniture. To have and to hold the said property hereby granted bargained and given unto the said Margaret Hester and Martha Jain their executors administrators and assigns as their own property from henceforth forever. Provided always and these presents are upon this special trust & confidence and upon express condition that they the said Margaret Hester and Martha Jain their executors administrators and assigns shall and do permit and suffer me the said Lydia Wilson to use keep and enjoy all and singular the said property during my natural life without paying or yielding any thing for the same or in any respect thereof and not otherwise and that from and after my decease they the said Margaret Hester and Martha Jain their executors administrators or assigns shall or lawfully may have hold and enjoy the same and every part and parcel thereof and dispose thereof and covert the same to their own and proper use and behoof as they may think fit In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twenty ninth day of April eighteen hundred and forty fore. Test Rebecca G. Navy Lydia X her Wilson mark Delivered March 23rd 1853 to William Frazier State of Maryland Dorchester County Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that on this twenty ninth day of April Eighteen hundred and forty four before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Dorchester County personally appears Lydia Willson she being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be a party to the foregoing instrument of writing and doth acknowledge the said instrument of writing to be her act and deed. In testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the day and year first aforesaid. Caleb Griffin Anthony C.
