219 unto the said John B. Dean his executors, administrators and assigns against him the said Isaac Myers his executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 19.th day of April eighteen hundred and forty four Signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Isaac Myers (Seal) in the presence of Joel Cornwell State of Maryland, Dorchester County SS Be it remembered that on this 19.th day of April 1844 before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said County appears Isaac Myers and acknowledges the above instrument of writing to be his Act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof. Acknowledged before Joel Cornwell Manumission Be it remembered that the following deed of Manumission Negro Washington was recorded on the 23.d day of April 1844, To wit: from Ex.d Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Woolford for Thomas Woolford divers good causes have agreed and do hereby agree to Manumit and set free my negro slave Washington alias Washington Hooper from and after the 20.th of April in the year eighteen hundred and fifty and he is hereby manumitted and liberated from and after the aforesaid time. In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal this 20.th April eighteen hundred and forty four Test Solomon Robinson Thomas Woolford (Seal) State of Maryland Dorchester County On this 20.th day of April 1844 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said state and County Thomas Woolford the parties in the above instrument and acknowledged the same to be his Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned Solomon Robinson Nancy Camper Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was recorded on the from Ex.d 25.th day of April 1844, To wit: W.m A Sullivane Know all men by these presents that I William A Sullivane for & in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me in hand paid by Nancy Camper have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Nancy Camper my negro woman named Janty slave for life To have and to hold the said Negro Woman Janty for her sole use and enjoyment as above bargained and sold unto the said Nancy Camper her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns against me the said William A. Sullivane my heirs, executors & administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall & will warrant and defend.
