173. John R. Dunnock Be it remembered that the following Bond of Conveyance was recorded and wife this 12.th day of December 1843. To wit: from Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Dunnock sen.r of Samuel Dunnock Dorchester County and state of Maryland am held and firmly bound unto John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife in the full and just sum of five thousand Dollars current money to be paid unto the said John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife or to his or her heirs, executors, administrators or assigns attorney or attorneys to the which payment well and truly to be made and done, I bind myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns firmly by these presents Sealed with my seal and dated this ninth day of December Eighteen hundred and forty three. Whereas the said John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife have this day by a regular Conveyance deeded their lands in Streights Hundred known by the names mentioned and specified in the said deed to the said Samuel Dunnock and whereas it is the intention and design of the parties Grantor to the said transfer to constitute the said Samuel Dunnock Aquit for the said John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife in the management and disposition of said lands named in said conveyance of the benefit of said John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife: And whereas it is the further design of said parties that said Samuel Dunnock shall proceed and collect all rents or dues now due or to become due and to apply the same and the proceeds of said lands annually accruing to the use and benefit of the said John R. Dunnock and Matilda Ann his wife and in all caus to use and dispose thereof as the agent of the said John R. and Matilda Ann Dunnock and at any time hereafter upon the request or demand of the said John R. Dunnock or Matilda Ann Dunnock his wife being made in writing to Samuel Dunnock his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns the said Samuel Dunnock, his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, is to receonvey and deliver up clear of all incumbrances all the lands mentioned in the before mentioned deed of conveyance by a similar deed given to him for the said lands to the said Matilda Ann Dunnock and her heirs or to her husband John R. Dunnock after her death if the reconveyance be not made to the said Matilda Ann Dunnock by the said Samuel Dunnock during her life time The said Samuel Dunnock is to be allowed a fair and reasonable compensation for his agency in the management & execution of the trust. Now this condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Samuel Dunnock his heirs, executors, administrators or assigns do and shall well and truly perform the requirements and obligations mentioned as aforesaid according to the true intent and meaning of the same then the above obligation is to be null and void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue signed, sealed & delivered Samuel Dunnock (seal) in the presence of us Henry Shenton Fielder Jones |
