Joseph E. Muse             Be it remembered that the following Release was recorded
       from      x.d             on this 24.th day of October 1843, To wit:
Samuel Chamberlain      This Indenture made this fourteenth day of October in the
                                     year eighteen hundred and forty three, between Samuel
Chamberlain of Talbot County, state of Maryland, of the one part and Joseph
E. Muse, did, by Bond filed in Registry of Talbot af.d engage to perform the
duties of Guardian to said Samuel, Chamberlain and has performed them during
the said Samuels minority; as well as since his arrival of age, and up to the year
first above written, that is, to the first day of January eighteen hundred and forty
three   Now this Indenture Witnesseth, that the said Samuel for & in consideration
of the payment having been made by said Joseph to the s.d Samuel in full
of all Notes, Bonds, bills, accounts, claims and demands in law, or equity, in the
premises aforesaid, or in any regard whatever, and for and in consideration of the
sum of one dollar to him in hand paid by said Joseph, at and before the
sealing and delivery of of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
hereby released, discharged and exonerated, and by these presents doth release, discharge
& exonerate the said Joseph E. Muse, his heirs, executors and administrators from
all claims, obligations and demands in any way arising from the premises, above
recited, or in any way whatever.  In witness whereof the said Samuel hath hereunto
affixed his hand & seal the day and year first above written

Dorchester County To wit:  on the fourteenth day of October 1843, personally
appeared before me, a Justice of the Peace of Dorchester afs.d, Samuel Chamberlain,
party to the within instrument, and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed
for the purposes therein mentioned.                                             James Rea

W. V. M. Edmondson   Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was
          from         Ex.d    recorded on the 31.st day of October 1843.  To wit:
Robert Harding             Know all men by these presents that I Robert Harding
                                     of Dorchester County and state of Maryland for and in
consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty five dollars and fifty
four cents in hand paid by W. V. M. Edmondson, before the sealing and delivery
of these presents, the indebtedness whereof, I the said Robert Harding doth
hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold unto the said W. V. M.
Edmondson and his assigns, all the articles in the [illegible] schedule, that is to say,
one hundred and thirty Barrels Corn, Sixteen Stacks Blade fodder, thirteen
Stacks Top fodder, Lot straw, all my interest in the crop wheat seeded, one
pen knife, one sorrel Horse, all which said property is now on the premises now
