presents the receipt whereof I the said Otho I Linthicum do hereby acknowledge
have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain
and sell unto the said Richard Linthicum his executors administrators and
assigns all the goods house hold stuff implements and furniture hereinafter
particularly mentioned that is to say Four Beds Bedsteads and all
the furniture belonging to them one mahogany Table one pine Table Two
Looking Glasses one pair andirons one Dozen chairs, Two Pots, one Tea
Kettle, To Spiders, one Dutch oven, Two waiter Buckets, one Tub, and
all the crockery ware in the cupboard, one cow and calf, one Batteau, one
canoe, all and singular which ^said^ goods and chattels are now remaining
in my possession and in the House and on the premises now occupied by
me To have and to hold all and singular the said Richard Linthicum
hold stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained and
sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Richard Linthicum
his executors administrators and assigns Forever and I the said Otho
I Linthicum for my self my heirs executors and administrators all and
singular the said goods chattels House hold stuff and furniture
and other the premises unto the said Richard Linthicum his executors
administrators and assigns against me the said Otho ^I^ Linthicum my
executors and administrators and against all and every other person
or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
presents of all and singular which said goods and chattels household
stuff and furniture and other the premises I the said Otho Linthicum
have put the said Richard Linthicum in full possesion by delivering
to him the said Richard Linthicum one canoe at the sealing
and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended to be so unto
him the said Richard Linthicum as aforesaid I witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of July one thousand
and eight Hundred and forty three

State of Maryland Dorchester County to wit Be it remembered that
on this fifteenth day of July one thousand Eight Hundred and forty
three before the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for said
county personally appeared Otho I Linthicum party to the above or
within Bill of sale and acknowledged the said Bill of sale or
instrument of writing to be his act and deed
