AN ACT to add new Section 193-8, Noise in Residential Areas, to Article II, Offenses
Against Public Peace, Safety and Morals, of Chapter 193, Peace and Good Order, of
the Harford County Code, as amended; to prohibit certain noises in certain areas
during specified hours; to establish certain exceptions to this prohibition; to
establish fines for violating this prohibition; and generally relating to noise.

Bill No. 93-69

AN ACT to add new Article XII, Commission on Veterans' Affairs, to Part 2, Nonbinding
Advisory Boards, of Chapter 9, Boards, Commissions, Councils and Agencies, of the
Harford County Code, as amended; to establish a Commission on Veterans' Affairs;
to establish the Commission's duties; to impose certain requirements on the
Commission; to provide that Commission members shall receive no compensation
for their services, except for reimbursement for expenses; and generally relating to
the powers and duties of the Commission.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact, with amendments, Subsection C 1(f) of Section 157-24,
License Fees, of Chapter 157, Licenses and Permits, and to repeal and reenact, with
amendments, all of Chapter 232, Taxicabs, of the Harford County Code, as
amended, to provide for the issuance of taxicab owners' licenses and drivers'
permits; to establish the criteria for issuance of said licenses and permits as well as
grounds for suspension and revocation of said licenses and permits; to establish
requirements for the operation of taxicabs and taxicab businesses in Harford
County; and generally relating to taxicabs.

Bill No. 93-80

AN ACT to add Subsection A(6), 1993 Transportation Plan, to Section 169-1, heading,
Adoption; Legal Status, of Chapter 169, Master Plan, of the Harford County Code,
as amended; to provide for the adoption of the Transportation Plan as part of the
Master Plan; and to further provide that a copy of said Transportation Plan, along
with all appendices, is attached to this Act and made a part hereof as though it were
fully stated herein.
