Article - State Personnel and Pensions

8-209.

[(a)] The Secretary may adopt regulations to carry out this subtitle.

[(b) The Secretary shall submit an annual report and related recommendations on
the results of the awards made under this subtitle to the Governor for transmittal, subject
to § 2-1312 of the State Government Article, to the General Assembly.]

SECTION 13. 14. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

14-305.

(c) (1) On or before December 31 of each year, the Governor's Office of
Minority Affairs shall submit to the Board of Public Works and, SUBJECT TO § 2-1312 OF
THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE, TO the Legislative Policy Committee a report
summarizing the information the Office receives under subsections (a) and (b) of this
section.

(2) THIS REPORT MAY BE PREPARED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ANNUAL REPORT REQUIRED UNDER § 9-306 OF THE STATE GOVERNMENT ARTICLE.

SECTION 14. 15. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

SECTION 15. 16. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 12 13 of this
Act is contingent on the taking effect of the termination provision specified in Section 16
of Chapter 614 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1993. If that termination provision
takes effect, Section 44 12 of this Act shall be void. This Act may not be interpreted to
have any effect on that termination provision.

SECTION 16. 17. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 14 15 of this
Act is contingent on the taking effect of the termination provision specified in Section 4
of Chapter 708 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1990. If that termination provision
takes effect, Section 13 14 of this Act shall be void. This Act may not be interpreted to
have any effect on that termination provision.
