[(f) (1) On or before January 1 of each year, subject to § 2-1312 of the State
Government Article, the Department shall submit an annual report to the General
Assembly.

(2) The annual report shall contain:

(i) The findings and recommendations of the Department on the
effectiveness, impact, and benefits of the programs under this section;

(ii) An evaluation of each program; and

(iii) Any proposed legislation that the Department considers necessary
and proper.]

SECTION 10. 11. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland

The Commission shall report to the Legislative Policy Committee of the Maryland
General Assembly annually by the opening day of the legislative session on:

(1)     the effectiveness of this part; and                                 

(2)     the effect of satellite simulcast betting on the racing industry in the
State.]

SECTION 11. 12. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland

[(c) On or before December 1 of each year, the Secretary shall submit to the
Department of Fiscal Services a list of all awards made under this subtitle in the previous
fiscal year.]
