SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the salary or
compensation for each judge of the Orphans' Court for Charles County specified in
Chapter 143 of the Acts of 1989 shall remain in effect for the remainder of the current
term.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III, §
35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or apply to
the salary or compensation of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Charles County in
office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the salary
or compensation of the judges of the Orphans' Court for Charles County shall take effect
at the beginning of the next following term of office.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1994.

Charles County Board of County Commissioners - Salaries

FOR the purpose of increasing the salaries of the County Commissioners of Charles
County; and providing that this Act does not apply to the salary or compensation of
the incumbent County Commissioners.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 9 - Charles County

27-2.

A. Meetings.

(1) The Commissioners shall meet for the transaction of business:

(a)     On Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, excluding legal
holidays.

(b)     At a public place designated for its meetings.
