Article 25 - County Commissioners

51.

(1) The County Treasurer of Dorchester County shall receive an annual salary of
[$30,000] $37,500.

Article 33 - Election Code

(a) Each member of the boards of the several political subdivisions of the State
shall receive an annual salary of not less than the following amounts:

(10) Dorchester County: [$2,000;] $2,500 and expenses as authorized by the
County Commissioners.

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

(k) (1) The Sheriff of Dorchester County shall receive [a] AN ANNUAL salary
of [$35,000, and] $45,000. THE SHERIFF SHALL be allowed the actual cost of the
maintenance of automobiles and the county jail. The Sheriff shall appoint a chief deputy
sheriff, one assistant deputy sheriff, other deputies, and a jail matron if approved by the
County Commissioners. A deputy or matron shall receive the compensation provided in
the county budget.

(2) If the Sheriff becomes incapacitated and the position of chief deputy is
vacant, the County Commissioners shall appoint a chief deputy sheriff.

Article - Education

(f) (3) Each member of the county board of the counties specified in this
paragraph shall receive the enumerated amounts annually for traveling and other
expenses.

(v) Dorchester County:

1.       Member [$1,000] $3,000; and

2.       Chairman [$1,200] 53,200.

Article - Estates and Trusts

2-108.

(k) Each of the judges of the Court for Dorchester County shall receive an annual
salary in the amount of [$2,500] $3,500. Each judge shall also receive an allowance of $10
for expenses for every day's attendance upon the sessions of the Court.
