Article 22 - Washington County

6-101.

(a)     In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.

(b)     "Allocation fee" means the charge for being connected to a water or sewerage
system, including, but not limited to, an initial connection charge.

(c)     "Clerk" means the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Washington County,
Maryland.

(d)     "Commission" means the governing body of the District, the Washington
County Sanitary Commission.

(e)     "County" means the political subdivision of this State known as the County
Commissioners of Washington County, and where appropriate to the context, its elected
Board of County Commissioners.

(f)      "District" means the body politic and corporate created under this title, the
Washington County Sanitary District.

(g)     "Drainage system" means the inlet, outfall lines, equipment, and property for
the carrying off and disposal of surface waters.

(h) "Project" means a water system, sewerage system, or drainage system or any
part of these systems that the District owns, constructs, or operates.

(i) "Property" means any interest in real estate.

(j) "Regulation" means the policies that have been formally adopted and
published by the Commission.

(k) [(1) "Representation area" means an area comprised of one or more
subdistricts, not necessarily contiguous, but located in the same general geographic area.

(2) The representation areas as of the date of the passage of this title are:

(i) Potomac - S

Cloverton/Greenlawn - S
Conococheague - S
Conococheague - W

(ii) Halfway - S

Saint James - S
Sharpsburg Pike - S

(iii) Maugansville/Orchard Hills - S
Fountainhead - S
Martins Crossroads/Cearfoss - W

(iv) Highfield/Cascade/Pen Mar - W
Highfield/Cascade/Pen Mar - S
Rolling Hills - S
