2-107.

(c) (1) The Office shall have the personnel and funding as provided in the State
budget. The Secretary, in consultation with the Secretary of Personnel, shall establish
those positions, technical or professional in nature, that shall be IN THE unclassified
SERVICE OF THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.                        

5-104.

(c) The Board of Directors shall appoint any additional professional and clerical
staff that is necessary to carry out the purposes of this subtitle. The officers or employees
of the Corporation are not subject to:

(1)      [the] THE provisions of Article [64A or] 73B of the Code; OR

(2)      THE PROVISIONS OF DIVISION I OF THE STATE PERSONNEL ARTICLE.
THAT GOVERN THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

5-1A-08.

The Trust shall be exempt from:                                                                      

(3)     The provisions of [Article 64A of the Code] DIVISION I OF THE STATE
PERSONNEL ARTICLE THAT GOVERN THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM.

6-303.

(b)     (1) The Secretary, with the approval of the Governor, shall appoint the
Director of the Administration who shall serve at the pleasure of the Secretary and shall
be [an] IN THE unclassified SERVICE [employee] of the State PERSONNEL
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

(2)      Subject to the administrative supervision of the Secretary, the Director
shall operate and exercise the powers of the Administration in accordance with the
provisions of this subtitle and of the law relating to the establishment of the Department
of Economic and Employment Development.

(3)      The Director shall receive such salary as provided in the State budget.

(4)      With the exception of the Director, no positions in the Administration
may be added without prior approval of the General Assembly.

6-506.

(c)     The executive director shall serve at the pleasure of the Council, subject to the
concurrence of the Secretary, and shall be [an] IN THE unclassified SERVICE
[employee] of the State [of Maryland] PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
