(II) SHALL BE IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE STATE
PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter______, Acts of 1993, which enacted Division I of the

State Personnel Article, also amended subsection (b)(2) of this section to
incorporate without substantive change former Art. 64A, § 3(4).

Article - Transportation

4-208.

(E)     (1) A MEMBER OF THE TOLL FACILITIES POLICE FORCE IS ENTITLED TO
THE SALARY PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET.

(2) (I) A MEMBER OF THE TOLL FACILITIES POLICE FORCE IS IN THE
UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

(II) HOWEVER, A MEMBER OF THE TOLL FACILITIES POLICE FORCE
IS SUBJECT TO DIVISION I OF THE STATE PERSONNEL ARTICLE TO THE SAME
EXTENT THAT A MEMBER OF THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE IS SUBJECT TO THAT
LAW.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter______, Acts of 1993, which enacted Division I of the

State Personnel Article, also added subsection (e) of this section, which is
derived without substantive change from former Art. 64A, § 3(11), as it
related to toll facilities police officers.

5-212.

(F)     (1) AN AIRPORT POLICE EMPLOYEE IS IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE
OF THE STATE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

(2) HOWEVER, AN AIRPORT POLICE EMPLOYEE IS SUBJECT TO DIVISION
I OF THE STATE PERSONNEL ARTICLE TO THE SAME EXTENT THAT A MEMBER OF
THE MARYLAND STATE POLICE IS SUBJECT TO THAT LAW.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Chapter______, Acts of 1993, which enacted Division I of the

State Personnel Article, also added subsection (f) of this section, which is
derived without substantive change from former Art. 64A, § 3(11), as it
related to what are now known as "airport police employees".

The former reference to "members of the State Aviation Administration ...
police forc[e]" is deleted as obsolete.

The former reference to the compensation to be paid these employees is
deleted as unnecessary in light of the last sentence of subsection (a) of this
section.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:
