In this section, the word "initiating" is substituted for the former word The only other changes are in style. Defined terms: "Grievance" § 10-101 SUBTITLE 2. PROCEDURES. 10-201. STEPS IN GRIEVANCE PROCEEDING. (A) STEPS IDENTIFIED. THE THREE STEPS IN THE GRIEVANCE PROCEEDING ARE: (1) THE INITIATION OF A GRIEVANCE PROCEEDING; (2) AN APPEAL TO THE HEAD OF THE PRINCIPAL DEPARTMENT OR (3) AN APPEAL TO THE SECRETARY. (B) BYPASSING STEPS. THE PARTIES MAY AGREE TO BYPASS ANY STEP OF THE GRIEVANCE REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a)(1) and (b) of this section are new language Subsection (a)(2) and (3) of this section is new language added for clarity. Defined terms: "Grievance" § 10-101 "Secretary" § 1-101 10-202. RESOLUTION ENCOURAGED.
