The Department of Personnel shall develop It

single, statewide institutional educator pay
plan be developed, to take effect in fiscal
year 1995, for individuals employed in an
educational capacity at the Department of
Juvenile Services, the Department of
Human Resources, the Department of
Health & Mental Hygiene, any vocational
rehabilitation program at the State
Department of Education or the Division of
Correction and Patuxent Institution in the
Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services,

The Institutional Educator Pay Plan should be
developed by a committee with representation
from institutional educators, the Division of
Correctional Education within the Maryland
State Department of Education, the Division
of Correction within the Department of Public
Safety and Correctional Services, the
Departments of Juvenile Services, Health and
Mental Hygiene, Personnel and Budget and
Fiscal Planning.
