An Act amending Subtitle 11 "Building Excise Tax" of Title 20 "Taxation and Public
Credit" of the Howard County Code in order to add definitions, to clarify that the tax
does not apply to temporary buildings, and to allow refunds of the tax if the building
permit is cancelled or expires.

[Amending §§ 20.1101 and 20.1104(b)(i) of the Howard County Code.

An Act pursuant to Section 1.606(e) of the Howard County Code approving provisions in
the collective bargaining agreements which are in conflict with the provisions of Title 1
"Personnel Administration" of the Howard County Code and making the provisions of
this Act retroactive to July 1, 1992.

[Amending § 1.101B(b) of the Howard County Code.

An Act amending Section 20.452 "Definitions" of Subtitle 4A "Room Rental Tax" of
Title 20 "Taxation and Public Credit" of the Howard County Code to clarify the
definition of "Hotel".

discrimination based on source of income.
