Bill No. 46

An Act repealing Subtitles 2 and 8 of Title 19 "Recreation and Parks" of the Howard
County Code and enacting, new Subtitle 2 in their place to define parkland, prohibit
certain activities on parkland, regulate other activities, allow certain others only with a
permit or written permission of the Director of Recreation and Parks, and to enforce
these prohibitions, regulations and permit provisions.

An Act amending the rules of procedure for the Board of Appeals.

[Amending §§ 2.202, 2.203(f), 2.204; 2.207, 2.208, and 2.210 of the Howard County Code.

An Act amending the Building Code to provide that building permits are valid for a year
after issuance.

[Amending § 3.101(7) of the Howard County Code.

Effective Date January 1, 1993]

Bill No. 53

An Act pursuant to HB 110 of the 1992 General Assembly, imposing and collecting a tax
on certain room rentals in Howard County; setting the rate of the tax; providing for the
administration and collection of the tax; and generally relating to a room rental tax in
Howard County.

[Adding §§ 20.451 through 20.457 to the Howard County Code.
