An Act adding new Subtitle 12 "Forest Conservation" to Title 16 "Planning, Zoning and
Subdivision and Land Development Regulations" of the Howard County Code in order to
implement the conservation, reforestation and afforestation requirements of the State
Forest Conservation Act of 1991.

Bill No. 38

An Act amending Subtitle 1 "Subdivision and Land Development Regulations" of Title
16 "Planning, Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Regulations" of the
Howard County Code in order to amend the definitions section; implement the retention,
reforestation and afforestation requirements of the State Forest Conservation Act of
1991; amend subdivision and site development submission requirements where needed to
implement forest conservation requirements; require 50' stream buffer in non-residential
zoning districts; coordinate forest conservation requirements with other environmental
requirements such as open space, stream and wetland buffers and steep slope protection;
and coordinate landscape requirements with forest conservation requirements.

Bill No. 42

An Act amending various sections of the Howard County Cable Television Systems
Franchise Act to clarify the meaning of the word "rate" as used in the Act and as used by
franchisees in billing subscribers.

[Amending §§ 14.402, 14.414, and 14.426 of the Howard County Code.

Effective Date July 6, 1992]

An Act amending various sections of Title 1 "Administration" of the Howard County
Code regarding the pay of County employees in Fiscal 1993.
