HOWARD COUNTY

Bill No. 21

An Act adding new Subtitle 12 "Housing Initiatives Loan Program" to Title 13 "Housing,
Urban Renewal, and Economic Development" of the Howard County Code in order to
establish a loan program to finance the costs of acquiring, constructing, and modifying
buildings which will provide group homes for low income, elderly, handicapped or
disabled individuals and other citizens in the County with special housing needs.

Bill No. 22

An Act amending portions of Section 17.109 "Automatic Fire Protection Sprinkler
Systems" of the Howard County Code to clarify the timing requirements for the
installation of sprinkler systems; clarifying the meanings of "addition" and "alteration",
clarifying the sprinkler requirements for additions to existing non-residential buildings
and declaring this to be an emergency measure.

Bill No. 29

An Act amending the Building Code to correct references to Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) regulations.

[Amending § 3.101(48) of the Howard County Code.

Effective Date June 8, 1992]

Bill No. 30

An Act amending portions of Subtitle 3 "Disposition of Unclaimed Personal Property and
Weapons, Lawfully Seized Weapons, Found Personal Property and Found Weapons" of
Title 4 "Contracts and Purchasing" of the Howard County Code in order to shorten the
waiting periods and required advertising periods for disposition of personal property and
weapons in the custody of the Howard County Police Department.

[Amending §§ 4.300(d), (e), and (f), 4.301, and 4.302(d) and repealing § 4.303 of the
Howard County Code.
