Bill No. 8

An Act pursuant to House Bill 108 (General Assembly of Maryland, 1992) enacting a
building excise tax on new building construction in Howard County; declaring the
. provisions of this Act effective upon the effective date of House Bill 108.

[Adding Title 20, Subtitle 11 to the Howard County Code.

Bill No. 10

An Act requiring preparation of a 10-year Capital Program and requiring the preparation
and adoption of Capital Improvement Master Plans to assist in long-range planning for
the building and financing of public facilities in Howard County; and making changes to
the order and numbering of Subtitle 4 "Budget Procedures" of Title 22 of the Howard
County Code.

Bill No. 11

An Act amending the Subdivision Regulations to incorporate concepts and procedures of
the Adequate Public Facilities Act.

[Amending various sections of Title 16, Subtitle 1 of the Howard County Code.

Bill No. 13

An Act adding new Section 4.310 "Fee for towing and storage of forfeited motor
vehicles" to Subtitle 3 "Disposition of Unclaimed Personal Property and Weapons,
Lawfully Seized Weapons, Found Personal Property and Found Weapons" of Title 4
"Contracts and Purchasing" of the Howard County Code and re-numbering existing
Section 4.310 as 4.311.

Bill No. 15

An Act to amend Section 16.510 "Collection, levy and receipt for collection of annual
mobile home taxes" of Subtitle 5. "Mobile Home Development" of, Title 16 "Planning,
Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Regulations" of the Howard County
Code for the purpose of setting a maximum tax on the amount of the annual rent charged
for the rental of a space in a mobile home park to correct references to State law.
