Charter Amendment - County Council - Limitation of Terms

RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Charter to provide that a member of the
County Council may not succeed himself or herself in office if the member has
served three full consecutive four-year terms after a certain date; making technical
corrections; and adopting a certain question pertaining to this Charter Amendment
to be voted on at the General Election in November, 1992.

[Amending Article II, § 203 of the Anne Arundel County Charter. Approved by the
Voters, November 1992. (Superseded by Res. No. 55-92)]

Resolution No. 34-92

Charter Amendment - Executive Branch Organization

A RESOLUTION for the purpose of proposing an amendment to the County Charter
that will permit the County Council, by ordinance and on the recommendation of
the County Executive, to create new offices, departments, bureaus, divisions or
other units of the executive branch of County government; to reorganize, reassign or
abolish existing 'offices, departments, bureaus, divisions or other units of the
executive branch of County government; or to provide for any unit of the executive
branch to report directly to the County Executive.

[Amending Article V, §§ 503 and 504 of the Anne Arundel County Charter. Approved
by the Voters, November 1992]

Charter Amendment - Counsel for the Personnel Board

A RESOLUTION for the purpose of proposing an amendment to the County Charter to
authorize the Personnel Board to retain private legal counsel, consistent with the
Budget, to advise the Board with respect to certain matters.

[Adding Article V, § 521(a)(6) to the Anne Arundel County Charter. Approved by the
Voters, November 1992]

Resolution No. 36-92

Charter Amendment - Grievance Procedures

A RESOLUTION for the purpose of proposing an amendment to the Charter of Anne
Arundel County to permit the parties to certain appeals before the Personnel Board
to submit the matter, by mutual agreement, to binding arbitration; and to require
the County Council to provide by ordinance for implementation of the binding
arbitration procedure.

[Adding Article V, § 521(c) to the Anne Arundel County Charter. Approved by the
