PORT DEPOSIT
CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 002-92
A RESOLUTION of the Commissioners of Poolesville adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the 1957
Annotated Code of Maryland (1990 Replacement Volume), title "Corporations -
Municipal," subtitle "Home Rule," to amend the provisions of Section 82-29, title "Board
of Recreation and Parks" of the Charter of the Town of Poolesville, being also Part I of
the Poolesville Code, to increase the size of the Board of Recreation and Parks from four
to seven members, one of whom shall be a Commissioner of Poolesville serving in an ex
officio capacity; to require the Board to advise the Town Manager as to the Acquisition,
development and maintenance of parks and recreational areas; to require the Board to
provide recommendations to the Town Manger and the Commissioners of Poolesville
concerning recreational programs; to require the Board to coordinate with the
Commissioners of Poolesville, the Town Manager and the Planning Commission
concerning parks and recreational areas and to provide recommendations on preliminary
subdivision plans which include parks or recreational areas; to require the Board to
develop an overall long range recreational plan for the Town of Poolesville and to make
budget recommendations to the Town Manager for needed expenditures for recreational
facilities and to require the Board to act in an advisory capacity to the Town Manager
regarding the beautification of town recreation and park property.

Edition), repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION - 92-1
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Port Deposit, adopted pursuant
to the authority of Article XIE of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 19 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition - 1991 Replacement Volume), for
the enlargement of the corporate boundaries of said Town by the annexation of certain
land contiguous to and adjoining the existing corporate area. (125.00 acres of land, more
or less)
