(7)     for a procurement under Title 3, Subtitle 4 of this article, the
Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning; [and]

(8)     for a procurement in connection with construction of a State
correctional facility under § 12-107 of this article, the Department of Public Safety and
Correctional Services; AND

(9)      THE CANAL PLACE PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY.'

(bb) "Public official" means:

(7) ANY MEMBER, APPOINTEE, OR EMPLOYEE OF THE CANAL PLACE
PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.

Article 73B - Pensions

10-101.

(e) (3) To participate in the Employees' Retirement System or the Pension
System for Employees of the State of Maryland, the following entities shall be considered
to be a municipal corporation:

(xvi) The Baltimore Metropolitan Council; [and]

(xvii) The University of Maryland Medical System Corporation as
defined in § 13-1C-01(b) of the Education Article, but only for Montebello University
employees as defined in § 13-lC-01(g) of the Education Article:

               1. Who were employees of the University of Maryland System

on June 30, 1992;

2.       Who were members of the Employees' Retirement System of
the State of Maryland or the Pension System for the Employees of the State of Maryland;
and

3.       Who became employees of the University of Maryland
Medical System Corporation in accordance with § 13-1C-04 of the Education Article;
AND

(XVIII) THE CANAL PLACE PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY.

DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PENSIONS SYSTEM
FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE STATE UNDER THIS SUBTITLE ARE THE EXECUTIVE
