(I) THE SIGN REQUIRED BY § 21-1006(D) § 21-1006(E) OF THIS
SUBTITLE; AND
(II) A SIGN DESIGNATING THE SPACE AS A PERSONAL
RESIDENTIAL PARKING SPACE WITH THE PERMIT NUMBER AND ANY OTHER
INFORMATION THE STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION MAY REQUIRE. THE
STANDARDS, TYPE, AND DESIGN OF THIS SIGN SHALL BE ESTABLISHED BY THE.
STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION CONFORMING WITH THE PROVISIONS OF §
8-605(D) OF THIS ARTICLE AND SHALL UTILIZE THE REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE
STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION UNDER THAT SECTION; and
(2) In accordance with subsection (c) of this section, paint a red line on the
curb, edge, or side of the roadway, long enough to reserve a space for one Class A
(passenger) vehicle.
(k) In Baltimore City, the: establishment of a PERSONAL RESIDENTIAL reserved
parking space shall be subject to approval of the Baltimore City Department of
Transportation, in accordance with the charter and public local laws of Baltimore City.
(1) In Baltimore County, the establishment of a PERSONAL RESIDENTIAL
reserved parking space shall be subject to approval of the Baltimore County Department
of Traffic Engineering, in accordance with the charter and public local laws of Baltimore
County.
(m) Unless the vehicle displays a PERSONAL RESIDENTIAL permit issued for the
space in which the vehicle is parked, a person may not park a vehicle in a PERSONAL
RESIDENTIAL reserved parking space established under this section.
21-1006.
(a) In this section, "parking lot" means any parking lot [ reserved for the use of
persons entering a retail store or shopping center that has more than 20,000 square feet
of usable floor area, except a parking lot built in compliance with the Maryland Building
Code for the handicapped and: aged] FOR WHICH SPACES ARE PROVIDED FOR
SELF-PARKING BY EMPLOYEES OR VISITORS, OR BOTH.
(b) [Each EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE MANDATED BY FEDERAL LAW, EACH
parking lot shall designate parking spaces for the use of handicapped persons
INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES as follows:
