Ch. 86 1993 LAWS OF MARYLAND BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Chapter 626 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1990 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Health Occupations 6-304. (a) An applicant who otherwise qualifies for a license is entitled to be examined (b) (1) The Board shall give examinations to applicants at least once a year, at (2) The Board may give reexaminations to applicants who fail all or part of (c) The Board shall notify each qualified applicant of the time and place of (d) (1) Except as otherwise provided under this title, the Board shall determine (2) Each examination shall include: (i) A section on the theory of electrology; and (ii) A section on the clinical practice of electrology. (e) (1) An applicant may retake an examination or a failed section of an (2) An applicant who fails two reexaminations may retake the examination (i) Retakes the entire examination; (ii) Pays the full examination fee; and (iii) Completes an education program that the Board requires. - 1184 -
