6-307.

(a)     The Board shall issue a license to any applicant who:

(1)     Meets the requirements of this title; and

(2)     Except as provided in § 6-306 of this subtitle, pays a license fee [of
$100] SET BY THE BOARD.

(b)     The Board shall include on each license that the Board issues a license
designation as:

(1)     An electrologist license; or

(2)     An electrology instructor license.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1990. [It shall remain effective for a period of 3 years and, at the end of June 30,
1993, and with no further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force or effect.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1 June 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

State Board of Chiropractic Examiners

FOR the purpose of clarifying the duties of the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners;
expanding certain disciplinary powers of the Board; requiring certain courts to
compel compliance with subpoenas under certain circumstances; prohibiting use of
trade names unless certain conditions are met; altering the maximum fine that may
be imposed for certain violations; requiring a certain report; and generally relating to
the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
