AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the
purpose of

Amending the setback requirements from adjoining lots
in the CBD Zones under the Standard Method of
Development.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County
Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Article 59-C                           "Zoning Districts - Regulations"

Division 59-C-6                     "Central District Zones"

Section 59-C-6.236 "Minimum Setbacks, Standard Method

of Development"

Effective Date May 9, 1988

purpose of

Adding definition for term "Research, development and
related activities".

Adding "Research, development and related activities"
as a permitted use in the O-M, C-O and C-P Zones with
limitations.

By amending the following sections of the Montgomery County
Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code:

Division 59-A-2                     "Definitions and Interpretation"

Division 59-C-4                     "Commercial Zones"

Section 59-C-4.1                   "Zones Established"

Section 59-C-4.2                   "Land Uses"
