Bill No. 63

AN ACT amending Section 18.402 "Maintenance of sidewalks,
driveways and sod" of Title 18 "Public Works" of the Howard
County Code to provide that owners of property which abut a
public sidewalk or driveway apron in need of repair may request
the Director of Public Works to make the repairs, provided that
the property owner signs an agreement to pay the cost of the
work; and permitting the property owner to pay the cost of
SIDEWALK repairs over up to a five year period.

Effective Date February 6, 1989.

AN ACT to add Section 18.124 (eB) to Title 18, "Public

Works" of the Howard County Code to incorporate into the

Metropolitan District certain parcel(s) located in Columbia

belonging to James P. and Betty S. Hill.

AN ACT amending Subtitle 1 "Subdivision and land development
regulations" of Title 16 "Planning, Zoning and Subdivision and
Land Development Regulations" of Howard County Code in order to
update the definitions section; clarify the law regarding land
reservation for roads, parks, schools, etc; to require developers
to make certain off-site improvements to roads and sidewalks; to
