AN ACT establishing penalties for certain violations of
Subtitle 5 "Public recreation on private lands" of Title 19
"Recreation and Parks" of the Howard County Code; and clarifying
language.

AN ACT adding new subtitle 4 "Disability Issues" to Title 12
"Health and Human Services of the Howard County Code in order to
establish a permanent Commission on Disability Issues.

AN ACT amending Section 12.212 "Complaint, investigations,
conciliation, decision and order, administrative hearing,
subpoena power and enforcement" of the Howard County Code to
provide that the Human Rights Commission may order a person who
has violated the human rights law to pay the attorney's fees of
the person whose rights were violated.

Effective Date November 8, 1988.

Bill No. 42

AN ACT amending Section 3.402 "Applicability" of Subtitle 4
"Sediment and Erosion Control" of Title 3 "Buildings" of the
Howard County Code to require grading permits for single-family
residences or their accessory buildings on lots of 2 acres or
more, which disturb an area greater than 0.5 acres.

Effective Date November 8, 1988.
