HOWARD COUNTY
Charter to provide that the Compensation Review Commission shall
review the Executive's salary and make recommendations to Council
and that Council may increase the Executive's salary by majority
vote and reduce it by a two-thirds vote; and submitting this
amendment to the voters of Howard County for their acceptance or
rejection in accordance with Article X of the Howard County
Charter.

Resolution No. 118
RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 302(f) "Vacancy" of
Article III "The Executive Branch" of the Howard County Charter
to provide that the County Administrator shall serve as acting
Executive when a vacancy occurs and until a new Executive is
appointed and that the person appointed shall belong to the same
political party as his predecessor at the time of his most recent
election and defining when a vacancy exists; and submitting this
amendment to the voters of Howard County for their acceptance or
rejection in accordance with Article X of the Howard County
Charter.

Resolution No. 119
RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 403 "Reorganization of
the Executive Branch" of Article IV "Offices, Departments and
Boards" of the Howard County Charter to provide that the
Executive shall prepare and submit a reorganization plan to
Council whenever the Executive deems reorganization to be in the
best interest of efficient government; and submitting this
amendment to the voters of Howard County for their acceptance or
rejection in accordance with Article X of the Howard County
Charter.

Resolution No. 120
RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 404 "Citizen boards"
of Article IV "Offices, Departments and Boards" of the Howard
County Charter to provide that no citizen board member shall be
reappointed after serving eight consecutive years; and submitting
this amendment to the voters of Howard County for their
acceptance or rejection in accordance with Article X of the
Howard County Charter.
