RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 202(d) "Compensation"
of Article II "The Legislative Branch" and Section 302(d)
"Salary" of Article III "The Executive Branch" of the Howard
County Charter to provide that the members of the Council and the
Executive do not accrue annual leave or payment in lieu thereof;
and submitting this amendment to the voters of Howard County for
their acceptance or rejection in accordance with Article X of the
Howard County Charter.

Resolution No. 112
RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 202(e) "Vacancies" of
Article II "The Legislative Branch" of the Howard County Charter
to provide that a vacancy on the County Council be filled by a
person representing the political party to which the previous
member belonged at the time of his most recent election; and
submitting this amendment to the voters of Howard County for
their acceptance or rejection in accordance with Article X of the
Howard County Charter.

RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 208(b) "Legislative
sessions" of Article II "The Legislative Branch" of the Howard
County Charter to provide that the Council by a two-thirds vote
may determine not to sit at the next regularly scheduled August
session; and submitting this amendment to the voters of Howard
County for their acceptance or rejection in accordance with
Article X of the Howard County Charter.
