COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
Effective Date April 17, 1989.

Bill No. 88-87

AN ACT to repeal and reenact, with amendments, certain
subsections of Section 267-36, heading, R, Rl, R2, R3 and R4
Urban Residential Districts, of Article VI, heading, District
Regulations, of Part I, heading, Standards, of Chapter 267,
heading, Zoning; to repeal and reenact, with amendments, certain
subsections of Section 267-53, heading, Specific Standards, of
Article VIII, heading, Special Exceptions, of Part I, heading,
Standards, of Chapter 267, heading, Zoning; to repeal and reenact
Use Table I, heading, Principal Permitted Uses for Specific
Zoning Districts, of Section 267-32, heading, Principal Permitted
Uses by District; to add new Table IIIA, heading, Design
Requirements for Special Uses, R District, of Section 267-33,
heading, Requirements for Specific Districts, all of Chapter 267,
heading, Zoning, of the Harford County Code, as amended, and to
provide for the establishment of a new zoning district and for
special exception standards within the R District.

Effective Date April 17, 1989.

HOWARD COUNTY

Resolution No. 109

RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 202(b)
"Qualifications" of Article II "The Legislative Branch" of the
Howard County Charter to provide that each member of the County
Council shall be a resident of the County for two years prior to
nomination and a registered voter; and be a resident of the
Council district in which he resides at the time of filing; and
submitting this amendment to the voters of Howard County for
their acceptance or rejection in accordance with Article X of the
Howard County Charter.

Approved by voters at General Election November 8, 1988.

Resolution No. 110

RESOLUTION proposing to amend Section 202(b)2 "Other
Offices" of Article II "The Legislative Branch" of the Howard
County Charter to provide that no person shall serve on Council
while holding another office of profit or trust of State or
County government; while employed by the County or other entity
receiving county funds; no member of the Council shall be
