Grading, Sediment Control and Forest Management

FOR the purpose of adopting certain requirements relating to
grading, sediment control and forest management; requiring
grading, sediment control and forest management plans; providing
for the issuance of grading permits; providing for fees and
security; providing general requirements for grading and sediment
control; defining certain terms; and providing for civil and
criminal penalties and generally relating to grading, sediment
control, and forest management.

The Department of Environmental Protection and Resource
Management's supervision of land use in the
Chesapeake Bay Critical Area

FOR the purpose of establishing regulations in compliance
with the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area law; prohibiting land
disturbance in habitat protection areas with certain exceptions;
providing for forest replacement and buffers; providing limits to
expansion of agricultural uses and implementation of an approved
soil conservation and water quality plan; providing for control
of forestry and tree clearing activities; regulating cutting of
trees and vegetation in buffers, and generally requiring
compliance with other laws and regulations.
