dated November 20, 1895; thence with part of the second and all
of the third and part of the fourth lines of said deed the
following courses: N 47° W 86.1 feet, N 48° W 101.1 feet, and N
49 1/2° W 95.23 feet; thence N 13 1/2° E and distant 15.0 feet
from the prolongation of the fifth line of said deed to a
connection with the existing County Road; thence northwesterly
along the County Road to its intersection with the prolongation
of the fifth line of said deed; thence with the prolongation of
the fifth line of said deed S 13 1/2° W to the beginning of this
description; containing 8,430.25 square feet, more or less; and
being the same property described in Liber 8035 at Folio 374
through Folio 380 among said Land Records; and
WHEREAS, the Town has proposed to extend its services to the
above property beginning on June 24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Town, as current and sole owner of the above
property, has expressed its consent to annexation in Resolution
88-3 adopted on March 14, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Town agrees to specify that the above property
shall be dedicated upon annexation to public use as a public park
to memorialize the role of the B&O Railroad in the social and
economic history of the Town; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on this annexation is scheduled
for May 10, 1988, at 7:30 p.m., in McCathran Hall.
