CHARTER RESOLUTION NO. 89-3

RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the City of Taneytown
adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 3 ("Home Rule") of
Article XI-E ("Municipal Corporations") of the Constitution of
Maryland and of Section 13 (under subtitle "Home Rule") of
Article 23A ("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of
Maryland to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978
Edition) by adding Section 509 entitled "Date of Election" to
provide for clarification of the date of elections.

RESOLUTION NO. 88-4

RESOLUTION
FOR ANNEXATION

WHEREAS, the Town of Washington Grove has proposed to annex
a property adjoining the Town and described as follows:

An irregular shaped parcel of land, as described as commencing at
an iron post at the end of the 4th or N 49 1/2° W line of that
certain deed dated November 20, 1895, recorded among the land
records of Montgomery County in Deed Book EBP No. 31, Folio 457;
thence in part with the fifth line of said deed dated November
20, 1895, S 13 1/2° W, to a point being 55.5 feet northeasterly
and radially from the centerline of the southerly (westbound)
track of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company; thence
concentric with and distant 55.5 feet from said centerline on a
curve to the right having a radius of 4,462.96 feet, an arc
distance of 285.0 feet, more or less, to a point; thence N 43
¹}²⁰ E 22.5 feet to a point on the second line of aforesaid deed
