CHARTER RESOLUTION 87-CR-3

A Resolution of the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the constitution of the State of Maryland and Sections 12 and 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1987 Replacement Volume) to amend Section 16-5 of the Charter
of the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor to authorize the
Mayor and the members of Town Council of Colmar Manor to serve,
beginning for those members of the Town Council elected at the
regular general municipal election in 1988 for a term of three
(3) years and for the Mayor and those members of the Town Council
elected at the regular general municipal elections held
thereafter for a term of four (4) years, and make certain changes
in the provisions of Section 16-5 of the Charter in order to
delete archaic matters.

[Section 16-5 of the Charter of the Town of Colmar Manor,
Prince George's County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Effective Date March 2, 1988]

CHARTER RESOLUTION 87-CR-4

A Resolution of the Mayor and Town Council of Colmar Manor,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland and Sections 12 and 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition
and 1987 Replacement Volume) to repeal and reenact with
amendments Section 16-8 of the Charter of the Mayor and Town
Council of Colmar Manor in order to provide for the registration
of the qualified voters of the Town of Colmar Manor by the Board
of Supervisors of Elections of Prince George's County, Maryland,
granting power to the Board of Election Supervisors of Colmar
Manor to review lists of registered voters to determine the
qualifications of same and to make certain changes in the
provisions of Section 16-8 of the Charter of the Mayor and Town
Council of Colmar Manor in order to delete certain archaic and
inconsistent language.
