(I)  $400 FOR A LICENSE OTHER THAN A LIMITED
LICENSE;

(II)  $300 FOR A 34-FOOT-DRAFT LIMITED LICENSE;
OR

(III)  $200 FOR A 28-FOOT-DRAFT LIMITED LICENSE.

(B)   ISSUANCE.

ON PAYMENT OF THE LICENSE FEE, THE BOARD SHALL ISSUE AN
APPROPRIATE LICENSE TO EACH APPLICANT WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS
OF THIS SUBTITLE.

(C)  CONTENTS.

THE BOARD SHALL SEAL EACH LICENSE THAT THE BOARD ISSUES WITH
ITS OFFICIAL SEAL.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a)(1) of this section is new
language added to state expressly that the Board must
give notice to qualified applicants. This addition
conforms to the practice of the Board.

Subsection (a)(2) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from former Art.
74, § 4(d), as that subsection related to license
fees, and rephrased as part of the notice requirement.

Subsections (b) and (c)     of this section are new

language derived without   substantive change from the

second clause of the first   sentence of former Art. 74,
§ 3.

In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the term "draft"
is substituted for the former term "draught", to
conform to contemporary usage.

In subsection (b) of this section, the former term
"warrants of appointment" is deleted as obsolete and
unnecessary in light of the defined terms "license"
and "limited license".

11-407. SCOPE OF LICENSES.

(A) SCOPE OF LICENSES.

WHILE A LICENSE, OTHER THAN A LIMITED LICENSE, IS IN EFFECT,
IT AUTHORIZES THE LICENSEE TO PROVIDE PILOTAGE FOR VESSELS OF ANY
DRAFT.
