LAWS OF MARYLAND

(a)  (1) The Commission shall have, and hereby is vested
with, the direction, management, control of and jurisdiction over
all PROFESSIONAL KICK BOXING, PROFESSIONAL KARATE, boxing and
sparring and wrestling matches and exhibitions to be conducted,
held or given within the State, by any person, club, corporation
or association.

(2) No PROFESSIONAL KICK BOXING, PROFESSIONAL KARATE,
boxing or sparring or wrestling match or exhibition shall be
conducted, held or given within the State except pursuant to its
authority and in accordance with the provisions of this subtitle.

(b)  The Commission shall adopt regulations to control,
direct, and manage all PROFESSIONAL KICK BOXING, PROFESSIONAL
KARATE, boxing, sparring, and wrestling matches in the State.

(c)  The Commission shall pay all moneys collected under
this subtitle into the General Fund of the State.

112AB.

(a)  Except as provided in subsection (f) of this section,
the Commission may issue a license to conduct, hold or give
PROFESSIONAL KICK BOXING, PROFESSIONAL KARATE, boxing and
sparring or wrestling matches and exhibitions:

(1)  At no fee, to:

(i) The United States of America Amateur Boxing
Federation; and

(ii) The Young Men's Christian Association;

(2)  To any person, club, corporation or association
to act as a promoter, on payment of an annual license fee of
$100; or

(3)  For an individual show, on payment of a license
fee of $25.

(b)  The Commission may issue an annual license to:

(1)  Act as referee of such matches, on payment of the
annual license fee of $10;

(2)  Participate, as contestant, in such matches, on
the payment of an annual license fee of $10;

(3)  Act as second in such matches, on payment of an
annual license fee of $10;

(4)  Act as manager of such matches, on payment of an
annual license fee of $15; and
