(1)  Two members of the House of Delegates, appointed
by the Speaker of the House, and one member two members of the
Senate of Maryland, appointed by the President of the Senate;

(2) The Secretary of Natural Resources, or the

Secretary's designee;

(3) Two members representing the Maryland Association
of Counties, appointed by the Governor;

(4) The Director of the Maryland Historical Trust;

(5) Two members representing the Maryland

Congressional Delegation, appointed by the Governor;

(6) Two members representing public interest groups,
appointed by the Governor;

(7) One member representing the Chesapeake Bay

Foundation;

(8) Two members representing the Maryland Watermen's
Association; and

(9) One member representing the U.S. Coast Guard.

(2) One member designated by the United States Coast
Guard; and

(3) Eleven members appointed by the Governor, as
follows:

(i) The Secretary of Natural Resources, or the
Secretary's designee;

(ii) Two members representing the Maryland
Association of Counties;

(iii) The Director of the Maryland Historical
Trust;

(iv) Two members representing the Maryland
Congressional Delegation;

(v) One member representing the Maryland
Municipal League;

(vi) Two members representing the Maryland
Watermen's Association; and

(vii) Two members of the general public.

(c) The Commission is charged with:
