APARTMENT BUILDING CONTAINS SPRINKLERS OR A FIRE SUPPRESSION
SPRINKLER SYSTEM APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OF THE COUNTY.

10-201.1.

(A)  NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF SUBTITLE 1 OF THIS
TITLE, THE GOVERNING BODY OF BALTIMORE COUNTY MAY AUTHORIZE, BY
LAW, A PAYMENT DEFERRAL OF COUNTY PROPERTY TAX FOR THE
IMPROVEMENT OF AN APARTMENT BUILDING BY THE ADDITION OF
SPRINKLERS OR A FIRE SUPPRESSION SPRINKLER SYSTEM APPROVED BY THE
BUILDING OFFICIAL OF THE COUNTY.

(B)  THE GOVERNING BODY OF BALTIMORE COUNTY SHALL DETERMINE
THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND PROCEDURES FOR THE PROPERTY TAX
PAYMENT DEFERRAL, INCLUDING:

(1)  THE AMOUNT OF THE PAYMENT DEFERRAL;

(2)  THE DURATION OF THE PAYMENT DEFERRAL; AND

(3)  THE QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PAYMENT DEFERRAL.

(C)  THE PROPERTY TAX PAYMENT DEFERRAL UNDER THIS SECTION
APPLIES ONLY TO APARTMENT BUILDINGS CONSTRUCTED IN BALTIMORE
COUNTY AFTER JANUARY 1, 1989.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989. It shall remain effective for a period
of four years and, at the end of June 30, 1993, and with no
further action required by the General Assembly, this Act shall
be abrogated and of no further force and effect.

AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis -
Wine Sampling Permit

FOR the purpose of authorizing the issuance of a wine sampling
permit for Anne Arundel County or the City of Annapolis;
providing for the scope and fee for the permit; exempting
this permit from certain restrictions; authorizing the City
of Annapolis to approve and set a fee for the permit; and
