(9) SINGLE SERVICE CUPS TO BE PROVIDED IN A SUITABLE
HOLDER WHICH WILL PROTECT THEM FROM SOIL BEFORE USE;

(10) A SUITABLE WASTE RECEPTACLE FOR USED CUPS AND
TOWELS TO BE PROVIDED; AND

(11) UNUSED FACILITIES, SUCH AS THOSE IN OTHER THAN
THE LEAD UNIT, TO BE KEPT IN GOOD REPAIR BASIC HEALTH AND SAFETY

STANDARDS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE, WITH RESPECT TO DRINKING
WATER, TOILET, AND HAND TOWEL FACILITIES.

[(d)] (E) A person who violates any rule or regulation that
the [Secretary] COMMISSIONER adopts under this section is guilty
of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine for each
offense not exceeding the lesser of the penalty provided by the
rule or regulation or $100.

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

[36A.

(a)  The General Assembly of the State of Maryland finds
that the safe operation of steam, diesel, electric or otherwise
propelled locomotives within the State requires that all steam,
diesel, electric or otherwise propelled locomotives operated in
excess of fifteen miles per hour by common carriers by rail
within the State be equipped with fully operable speedometers
within view of the engineer or operator of the locomotive.

(b)  No railroad locomotive shall be operated in excess of
fifteen miles per hour in this State without a speedometer or
speed recorder functioning correctly within four miles per hour
within the view of the engineer or operator of the locomotive.

(c)  A railroad is in compliance with the provisions of this
section if, by the first day of October 1972, it has at least one
third of its locomotives equipped with speed indicators or speed
recorders as hereinabove provided and if, by the first day of
October 1973, an additional one third of the locomotives shall be
so equipped, and if, by the first day of October 1974, the
remainder of its locomotives shall be so equipped.

(d)  Locomotives operated or used exclusively within
designated yard limits in switching or transfer service, and
existing MU cars which do not presently have speedometers need
not be equipped in accordance with the provisions of this
section.

(e)  Each railroad shall notify the Public Service
Commission of the date that each locomotive comes into compliance
with the provisions of this section. The notification shall state
the serial number or other identification of the locomotive.
