WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 312
advance of the date of the expiration of the certificate. Failure
to receive notice does not prevent the certificate from becoming
invalid after the expiration date. Renewal may be effected at any
time prior to July 1 by the payment of a fee of [$90] $150 for
professional land surveyors and [$80] $100 for property line
surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced by the issuance of a
biennial registration card, bearing the date of expiration and
the signatures of the chairman and secretary of the Board. On
failure of any registrant to renew his certificate biennially
prior to July, as required above, his right to practice shall be
invalidated, but the certificate may be renewed at any time
within the next succeeding 24 months upon the payment of a fee of
[$100] $200 for professional land surveyors and [$90] $150 for
property line surveyors. Renewal shall be evidenced by the
issuance of a biennial registration card, bearing the date of
expiration and the signatures of the chairman and secretary of
the Board. If any registrant fails to renew his certificate
within the 24 month period provided above, and later applies for
renewal, he may be required to present reasons for the renewal.
The Board may grant a renewal of the certificate, in which case
the renewal fee is the same as the registration fee for
professional land surveyors or for property line surveyors.
(d) The fee for land surveyor-in-training is $10 and shall
include the cost of examination and issuance of the certificate.
(e) The registration fee for a certificate of authorization
for a corporation or partnership is [$50] $150 and the renewal
fee shall be [$120] $150. Certificates of authorization shall
expire on the last day of June and shall be invalidated after
that date unless biennially renewed.
(f) If the Board denies the issuance of a certificate of
registration to any applicant or a certificate of authorization
to any corporation or partnership, the initial fee deposited
shall be retained as an application fee.
