THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language added to introduce the basic requirements for
an applicant for a license.

Subsections (b) through (d) of this section are new
language derived without substantive change from the
first sentence of former Art. 56, § 482(i).

Subsection (e) of this section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, § 481,
as that section related to passing an examination to
teach beauty culture, and rephrased in standard
language used throughout this article.

In the introductory language to subsections (b), (c),
and (d) of this section, the references to "a license
to teach cosmetology limited to providing" esthetic,
manicuring, or wig styling services are substituted
for the former reference to a "certificate as an
instructor of one of the specialized courses of beauty
culture provided in § 485(d) of this subtitle", for
clarity. In any event, the former cross-reference was
incorrect.
