SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

117.
(F)(1) IN WORCESTER COUNTY, A RETAIL LICENSEE UNDER THIS
ARTICLE MAY NOT EMPLOY A PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS FOR
THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES UNLESS THE LICENSEE FIRST HAS
OBTAINED A PERMIT FOR THAT PURPOSE FROM THE SHERIFF AND THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY OF WORCESTER COUNTY.
(2) A PERMIT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR ANY EMPLOYEE WHO IS
AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD.

[(a) In Worcester County it is unlawful for any licensee
under this article to employ any person under the age of 21 18
years in the sale of alcoholic beverages, unless a permit is
obtained from the Sheriff and State's Attorney of Worcester
County. [ However it is lawful to employ persons between 18 and
21 years of age for the purpose of the sale of beer and light
wine without obtaining a permit.]
[(b)] (A) It is unlawful for any licensee under this
article to allow any person not designated under § 2(t) of this
article to loaf or loiter about the place of business for which
the license is issued; restaurants may, however, serve meals
without alcoholic beverages to any person.
