AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - Alcoholic Beverages Sales

FOR the purpose of requiring the Somerset County Board of License
Commissioners to determine the hour of cessation of sales of
alcoholic beverages on December 31 and January 1.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

89.

(Q) IN SOMERSET COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
SHALL DETERMINE THE HOUR TO CEASE SALES OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON
DECEMBER 31 AND JANUARY 1 REGARDLESS OF THE DAY OF THE WEEK ON
WHICH THESE DATES FALL.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1989.

FOR the purpose of altering a prohibition on the certain
provisions of the law concerning employment of persons of a
certain age by a retail alcoholic beverages licensee in
Worcester County for the sale of alcoholic beverages without
