CHAPTER 181

(House Bill 259)

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Recreation and Parks - Parking at

Public Landings

FOR the purpose of authorizing the promulgation of regulations
that deal with the parking of vehicles at public landings in
Queen Anne's County; providing penalties for violations of
these regulations; authorizing certain Queen Anne's County
employees to issue citations for parking violations at
public landings in Queen Anne's County; clarifying language;
and generally relating to the promulgation of regulations
that deal with public landings in Queen Anne's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 13-108(e)

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1983 Edition and 1986 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

13-108.

(e) (1) The County Roads Board may [from time to time such
rules and] PROMULGATE regulations by resolution [as it shall deem
necessary] to control and regulate the usage of the public
landings!,] and sanitary landfills, including [the] access roads
[thereto].

(2)   [Such rules and regulations when and   as] WHEN THE
REGULATIONS ARE promulgated or altered THEY shall   be published
once a week for [two (2)] 2 successive weeks in some   newspaper of
general circulation in Queen Anne's County.

(3)  (I) Any person violating [such rules and] THE
regulations [shall be deemed] PROVIDED FOR IN PARAGRAPH (1) OF
THIS SUBSECTION IS guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
[thereof] shall be fined not more than [$500.00] $500 or
imprisoned for not more than [ninety (90)] 90 days or both fined
and imprisoned.

(II) NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF
PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION, ANY PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY
