(2) PAY TO THE BOARD AN APPLICATION FEE OF $25.

(B) SEPARATE APPLICATION AND FEE FOR EACH BARBER SCHOOL.

FOR EACH SCHOOL PERMIT FOR WHICH A PERSON APPLIES, THE
PERSON SHALL SUBMIT A SEPARATE APPLICATION AND PAY A SEPARATE
APPLICATION FEE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
former Art. 56, § 439(a)(6) and the first sentence of
(d) and the first sentence of § 437(b).

Subsection (b) of this section is new language added
to state expressly that which only was implied in the
former law -- i.e., separate applications and
application fees are required for each permit for
which a person applies.

In subsection (a) of this section, standard language
is added to state expressly that which only was
implied in the former law -- i.e., applications may be
made only on the form provided by the Board.

The Business Occupations Article Review Committee
notes, for consideration by the General Assembly, that
the former law did not require payment of an
inspection fee. Compare § 4-503 of this subtitle.

4-515. ISSUANCE OF SCHOOL PERMIT.

(A)  NOTICE TO QUALIFIED APPLICANTS.

IF AN APPLICANT QUALIFIES FOR A SCHOOL PERMIT UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE, THE BOARD SHALL SEND THE APPLICANT A NOTICE THAT STATES
THAT:

(1)  THE APPLICANT HAS QUALIFIED FOR A SCHOOL PERMIT;
AND

(2)  ON RECEIPT OF THE SCHOOL PERMIT FEE SET BY THE
BOARD UNDER SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION, THE BOARD WILL ISSUE
THE SCHOOL PERMIT TO THE APPLICANT.

(B)  SCHOOL PERMIT FEE.

(1) EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SUBSECTION,
THE FEE FOR A SCHOOL PERMIT IS $50.
