(II)  THE DATE BY WHICH THE BOARD MUST RECEIVE
THE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR THE RENEWAL TO BE ISSUED AND MAILED
BEFORE THE LICENSE EXPIRES; AND

(III)  THE AMOUNT OF THE RENEWAL FEE.

(C) APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

BEFORE A LICENSE EXPIRES, THE LICENSEE PERIODICALLY MAY
RENEW IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2-YEAR TERM, IF THE LICENSEE:

(1)  OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO BE LICENSED;

(2)  PAYS TO THE BOARD A RENEWAL FEE OF:

(I)  $20 FOR A MASTER BARBER LICENSE;

(II)  $50 FOR A BARBER TEACHER LICENSE;

(III)  $20 FOR AN ASSISTANT BARBER TEACHER

LICENSE; OR

(IV) $10 FOR AN ASSISTANT-BARBER LICENSE; AND

(3) SUBMITS TO THE BOARD A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE
FORM THAT THE BOARD PROVIDES.

(D) ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE BOARD SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF AND ISSUE A RENEWAL
CERTIFICATE TO EACH LICENSEE WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
SECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) and (c)(2) of this section
are new language derived without substantive change
from former Art. 56, § 432A(c), the second sentence
and, as it related to renewal, the first sentence of §
436(d), the fourth sentence and, as it related to
renewal, the third sentence of § 435, and the first
sentence of § 439(d) and the references to biennial
renewal in (a)(2), (10), (12), and (13).

Subsection (b) of this section is new language added
to conform to current practice of the Board and to
similar provisions governing other State-regulated
business occupations.

Subsection (c)(1) of this section is standard language
added for clarity.

Subsection (c)(3) of this section is standard language
added to state expressly that which only was implied
in the former law -- i.e., renewal applications may be
made only on the form that the Board provides.
